RESTORAN MÜŞTERİLERİNİN YALNIZLIK GEREKSİNİMİ VE KALABALIĞI TOLERE EDEBİLME DÜZEYİ BAĞLAMINDA FARKLILAŞAN ALANSAL KALABALIK VE MASALAR ARASI BOŞLUK ALGISI

Restoran müşterilerinin algıladıkları alansal kalabalık ve masalar arası boşluğun, memnuniyet düzeylerini etkileyebildiği bilinmektedir. Alansal kalabalık ve masalar arası boşluk algısı bireyden bireye farklı olabilmektedir. Gereksinim duyulan mahremiyet düzeyinin, bu farklılığa yol açabileceği düşünülmektedir. Bu bağlamda, restoran ziyaretinden memnuniyetin de farklı düzeylerde oluşması beklenmektedir. Araştırmanın amacı, mahremiyet gereksinimi farklı olan restoran ziyaretçilerinin; alansal kalabalık ve masalar arası boşluk algıları ile memnuniyet düzeylerinin birbirinden farklı olup olmadığını ortaya koymaktır. Sonuçlara göre, alan algısı ve memnuniyet düzeyleri farklılık göstermektedir. Bu bağlamda, restoran alanı; alansal kalabalık ve masalar arası boşluk açısından farklı özelliklere sahip bölümlere ayrılarak, kalabalığı tolere edebilme düzeyi ve yalnızlık gereksinimi farklı müşteriler için kişiselleştirilebilir. Araştırma, restoran yöneticilerine, alansal düzenlemelerde tek bir yaklaşım yerine bireysel farklılıkları gözönünde bulundurarak müşteri memnuniyetini artırabilecekleri ve restoran alanını verimli kullanabilecekleri önerisini getirmesi açısından yararlıdır.
