Realizm Karmaşası ve Tarihselcilik Sorunu

Bu çalışma, Realist paradigmanın tanımlanmasındaki karmaşıklığı incelemektedir. Realizm'in önerilen tanımlarının neredeyse tamamının ironik bir biçimde tarihselci olduğunu ve kavramsal netlikten mahrum olduğunu iddia etmektedir. Bu tür tanımlamalar Realizm'in realist yazarları tanımladığı tutarlı ve bağımsız bir kavramsal çerçeve önermek yerine, kavramsal bir çerçeve olan Realizm'i realist yazarlara mahkum ederek halihazırdaki kaotik duruma katkı sunmaktadır. Çalışma, Realizm'in tarihselci tanımlarını eleştirerek kavramsal değerlendirmelere olan ihtiyacı göstermeye çalışmaktadır.

Realist Confusion and the Problem of Historicism

This study examines the complexity in defining the Realist paradigm. It claims that almost all of the suggested definitions of Realism are ironically historicist in origin and lack conceptual clarification. They contribute to the already chaotic situation over the meaning of Realism rather than offering a consistent and independent conceptual framework in which Realism defines realists not the vice versa. By criticizing historicist definitions of Realism, the study attempts to illustrate the need for conceptual evaluations.
