Farklı Yöntemlerle Yapılan Beyazlatma Tedavileri: 3 Olgu Sunumu

Son yıllarda estetiğin ön plana çıkmasıyla vital diş beyazlatma uygulamaları, hastalar tarafından en fazla talep edilen tedavilerden biri haline gelmiştir. Ofis beyazlatma sistemlerinde tedavi süresini kısaltmak için uzun yıllardır çeşitli ışık kaynakları kullanılmıştır. Günümüzde lazer aktivasyonlu beyazlatma tedavisi güvenle uygulanan ve oldukça yaygın bir tedavidir. Ofis beyazlatma sistemlerinde aktif ajan olarak hidrojen peroksit H2O2 kullanılmaktadır. H2O2vücutta oksidatif strese neden olabilmektedir. Bu nedenle beyazlatma işleminde H2O2’e alternatif olarak ozon gazından faydalanılmaya çalışılmaktadır. Bu olgu sunumunda beyazlatma işlemlerinde rutin olarak kullanılmakta olan H2O2 içerikli beyazlatma jeli ile yeni geliştirilen ozonla beyazlatma yönteminin dişler üzerindeki renk değişimi, diş ve dişeti duyarlılığı değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır

Bleaching With Three Different Treatment Methods: Report of 3 Cases

Since aesthetics came into prominence in recent years, the applications of vital teeth bleaching has become the most demanded treatment method by patients. In the office bleaching systems, the various light sources has been used in order to shorten the duration of treatment for many years. Nowadays, laser activated bleaching treatment is a safe and commonly used treatment method. In the office bleaching systems, hydrogen peroxide H2O2 is used as an active agent. HO may cause oxidative stress on the human body that is why ozone gas is tried to be used as an alternative gas to H2O2 in the bleaching operations. In this case presentation, it is aimed to evaluate the effects of both bleaching agent containing H2O2 which is used in bleaching operations routinely, and the bleaching method which is developed recently via using ozone gas, on the discoloration of teeth
