GELENEKSEL BABALIK ÖLÇEĞİNİN TÜRKÇEYE UYARLANMASI: GEÇERLİK VE GÜVENİRLİK ÇALIŞMASI

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Whatley ve Knox (2005) tarafından geliştirilen Geleneksel Babalık Ölçeği’ni Türkçeye uyarlamak ve ölçeğin güvenirlik ve geçerlik analizini yapmaktır. Araştırmanın örneklemi Erzincan Binali yıldırım Üniversitesi, Kafkas Üniversitesi ve Osmaniye Korkut Ata Üniversitesi’nde eğitim gören 412 üniversite öğrencisi ile oluşturulmuştur. Ölçeğin Cronbach Alpha katsayısı .88 ve test tekrar test güvenirlik katsayısı .95 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Tek faktörlü bir yapıya sahip olan ölçeğin doğrulayıcı faktör analizi SPSS Amos programı ile yapılmış ve faktör yüklerinin .63 ile .85 arasında değiştiği tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre ölçeğin CMIN, DF, CMIN/DF, RMSEA, CFI ve GFI değerleri yeterli sınırlar içinde bulunmuştur. Güvenirlik ve geçerlik analizlerinden elde edilen sonuçlar ölçeğin Türkçe formunun kullanılabilir olduğunu göstermiştir.

ADAPTATION OF THE TRADITIONAL FATHERHOOD SCALE INTO TURKISH: VALIDITY AND RELIABILITY STUDY

The purpose of this study is to adapt the Traditional Fatherhood Scale developed by Whatley and Knox (2005) into Turkish and to conduct a reliability and validity analysis of the scale. The sample of the study consisted of 412 university students studying at Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Kafkas University, and Osmaniye Korkut Ata University. The Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the scale was calculated as .88, and the test-retest reliability coefficient was calculated as .95. Confirmatory factor analysis of the scale, which has a single-factor structure, was conducted using the SPSS Amos program, and it was found that the factor loadings ranged between .63 and .85. According to the research results, the CMIN, DF, CMIN/DF, RMSEA, CFI, and GFI values of the scale were within acceptable limits. The results obtained from reliability and validity analyses have shown that the Turkish version of the scale can be used.
