Pelvis Morfolojisi, Radyolojik ve Klinik Anatomisi

Pelvis; os coxae (ilium, ischium, pubis), os sacrum ve os coccygisten oluşan ve alt ekstremiteyi gövdeye bağlayan kemik yapıdır. Pelvik yapı gerek günlük hayatta, gerekse vücut ağırlığının alt ekstremiteye aktarılmasında, ayakta durma ve yürümenin sağlanmasında, pelvis içindeki organların korunmasında, gerekse hamilelikte fetüsü taşımada ve doğumda büyük role sahip önemli bir yapıdır. Travmalara maruz kalan ve fonksiyonel açıdan önemli olan pelvis bölgesinin morfolojik, radyolojik ve klinik özelliklerinin çok iyi bilinmesi gerekmektedir. Bu amaçla çalışmamızda; pelvis bölgesinin morfolojik, radyolojik ve klinik özellikleri ile ilgili literatürler gözden geçirildi. Yaptığımız bu çalışmanın, pelvis bölgesi ile ilgili patolojilerin teşhis ve tedavisinde ilgili klinisyenlere faydalı olacağı kanısındayız.
