Ratlarda Deneysel Olarak Oluşturulan Postoperatif Peritoneal Adezyonları Önlemede %50 Dekstrozun Rolü

Amaç: Postoperatif peritoneal adezyonları (PPA) önlemek için pek çok değişik yöntem ve uygulama araştırılmıştır. Bu uygulamalardan biri de hipertonik solüsyonlarla peritoneal boşlukta su miktarını artırarak peritoneal yapışıklıkların önlenmesidir. Bu çalışmada, PPA oluşmasının önlenmesinde %50 dekstroz çözeltisinin rolünün araştırılması planlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bu çalışmada, %50 dekstroz, sham ve kontrol grubu olmak üzere her biri on ikişer rattan oluşan üç ayrı grup oluşturuldu. Ratlar on dördüncü gün sakrifiye edilip relaparotomileri yapıldı. Sonuçlar daha önceden tanımlanmış klasifikasyonlara uygun makroskopik ve mikroskopik açıdan değerlendirildi. Bulgular: %50 dekstroz ile tedavi edilen grup, makroskopik (Nair) ve mikroskopik (Zuhlke) sınıflandırmalarına göre kontrol grubu ile karşılaştırıldığında PPA gelişimi açısından belirgin farklılık tespit edilmedi. Sonuç: Ratlarda deneysel oluşturulan adezyon modelinde, %50 dekstroz solüsyonunun PPA oluşumunu önleme üzerinde etkisi kanıtlanamamıştır.

The Role of 50% Dekstrose For Preventing Postoperative Peritoneal Adhesions in Adhesive Intestinal Obstruction in Rats

Objective: Various methods have been investigated to prevent postoperative peritoneal adhesions. It is thought that hypertonic solutions could be used to prevent peritoneal adhesions with waterisation. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of 50% dekstrose solution in the formation of PPA. Material and Methods: Rats were divided into 3 groups, each consisting of twelve rats. Groups were classified as; 50% dekstrose, sham and control group. The rats were sacrified on the 14th day and relaparotomies were performed. The results were evaluated macroscopically and microscopically according to predetermined classifications. Results: When the groups treated with 50% dekstrose were compared with the control groups according to the previously described macroscopic (Nair) and microscopic (Zuhlke) classifications, there was no significant difference in PPA formation both microscopically and macroscopically. Conclusion: In the experimentally created adhesion model, the effect of 50% dekstrose on preventing PPA formation could not be proved.
