In this study, we show that a * - homomorphism ? ∶ ? → ? between unital commutative ?*- algebras ? and ? with ?−1 = ?−1(?−1) satisfies the property to preserve spectrum and adjoint mapping ?∗∶ ∆(?) → ∆(?) is surjective, that is, ?∗ maps maximal ideal space of ? to maximal ideal space of ?.
