Factors affecting survival in neonatal surgery unit in a tertiary care university hospital during 26 years

Turk J Pediatr 2016; 58: 457-463.This clinical study was designed to evaluate mortality rate and the factorsthat may affect survival in neonatal surgery unit.Randomly chosen 300 (ß: 0.20) patients among 1,439 patients treatedin neonatal surgery unit during years 1983 to 2009, were evaluatedretrospectively. The patients were separated into three groups accordingto date of treatment; Group A: 1983 - 1995, Group B: 1996 - 2005 andGroup C: 2005 - 2009.
