The effects of different water temperatures on the growth, feed intake and antithrombin activity of P. manillensis were studied in order to identify the optimum water temperature for growth. After P. manillensis were cultured at the water temperatures of 18, 22, 26, 30, 34, 38 °C and room temperature (RT), final body weight (FBW), weight gain rate (RWG), specific growth rate (SGR), feed conversion rate (FC), average feed intake per time (AFI), average feed intake rate per time (AFIR), survival rate (SR) and antithrombin activity (AT) were measured for 64 days. The result showed that FBW, RWG, SGR, AFI, and SR of P. manillensis presented different growth indices that were higher than other experimental treatments at 26-30 °C (P
