Yahya Kemal, modern Türk şiirine yön vermiş; hem kendi döneminde hem de kendinden sonraki dönemlerde şairler üzerinde etkili olmuş bir şairdir. Türk şiirinde Yahya Kemal’in izini sürmek amacıyla pek çok araştırma yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmalar sayesinde gerek Yahya Kemal gerekse Türk şiirinin yenileşmesi hakkında bir fikir edinmek mümkündür. Biz ise bu yazıda Yahya Kemal’in 1947-1952 yılları arasında bir üniversite öğrencisiyle yaptığı sohbetlerden hareketle tutulmuş bir defteri tanıtmak istiyoruz. Anılan üniversite öğrencisi geleceğin gazeteci, şair, milletvekili ve televizyoncusu Necdet Evliyagil’dir. Necdet Evliyagil üzerine hazırladığımız monografik yüksek lisans tezimiz dolayısıyla Ajans-Türk arşivinde elimize geçen bu defter hakkında bilgi vereceğimiz yazımızda, şair ve şair olmak isteyen bir öğrencinin şiir hakkındaki konuşmaları yer almaktadır

Yahya Kemal is a poet who has influenced not only the modern Turkish poetry but also the poets both in his period and in the following periods. A vast number of studies have been carried out in order to trace the characteristics of his poetry. Through these studies, it is possible to get an idea both about Yahya Kemal and the renewed features of the Turkish poetry. In this article, we want to introduce a notebook which was kept by a university student, Necdet Evliyagil. The notebook is about the conversations between Yahya Kemal and Necdet Evliyagil from 1947 to 1952. The aforementioned university student, who would be a journalist, poet, senator and TV programmer in the future, is Necdet Evliyagil. While preparing an MA thesis as a monographic work on Necdet Evliyagil, we found this notebook in the Ajans-Türk archives. In this paper, we will give some information about the notebook in which poetry conversations between Yahya Kemal and Necdet Evliyagil were noted down
