Ahmed-i Da'i, Anatolian poet o f the late 14th century and the early 15th century, is one o f the early represantive o f Ottoman poetry. Tazkaras gives very little is known about his life except that he was from Garmiyan region at the age of Sulayman Shah and his son Yakub I I, after the city o f Kutahya was given as a trousseau at the marriage o f Yildirim with the daughter of Suleyman Shah to Ottomans.Probably like the other poets o f Garmiyan state as Ahmedi and Hamzavi Ahmed-i Da'i accepted as an Ottoman poet.After Yildirim's death he was at the court o f Amir Sulayman, the great son of Yildirim to whom he wrote an origanal masnavi named Chang-name.After Ismail Hikmet Ertaylan's work on Ahmed-i Da'i
