Effects of Triticale Replacement without Any Enzymes on Carcass Performance of Broiler Chickens

Bu araştırmada, mısır yerine farklı seviyelerde tritikale kullanılan yemlerde enzim kullanılmamasının etlik piliçlerin kesim ve karkas özellikleri üzerine etkisi çalışılmıştır. Deneme cinsiyet ayrımı yapılmış 960 adet günlük yaşta Ross-308 etlik civciv ile 4 odada 3 farklı yem, 4 tekerrürlü olmak üzere toplam 48 grup ile tesadüf parselleri faktöriyel deneme deseninde yürütülmüştür. Yemler başlangıç (%23 HP ve 3000 Kcal/kg ME), büyütme (%21 HP ve 3175 Kcal/kg ME) ve bitirme yemi (%20 HP ve 3225 Kcal/kg ME) olarak hazırlanmıştır. Besleme dönemleri sırasıyla 0-11., 12-28. ve 29-42. günlerde ve %100 mısır (M, kontrol), %100 tritikale (T) ve mısır+tritikale (MT) gruplarından oluşmuş ve sırasıyla dönemlere göre tritikale gruplarda toplam %50, 55 ve 58 oranlarında; MT guruplarında ise % 25, 27.5 ve 29 oranlarında tritikale-mısır karışımı kullanılmıştır. Yemlere fitaz dâhil hiçbir enzim eklenmemiştir. 42. günde her alt gruptan 3’ü erkek ve 3'ü dişi olmak üzere 6 adet piliç alınarak kesim ve karkas işlemleri için Araştırma Enstitüsü'nün kanatlı kesim tesisine taşınmıştır. Kesilip, yolunmuş karkaslar parçalanarak kesim ve karkas özellikleri değerlendirilmiştir. Genel olarak, %100 tritikale ile beslenen grupların kesim canlı ağırlıkları (CA) çok düşük, yem değerlendirme katsayıları (YDK) ise yüksek bulunmuştur. Karkas ağırlığı ve karkas ağırlığının yüzdesi olarak T ve MT gruplarının alt but, üst but ve göğüs eti ağırlıkları, M grubuna göre sırasıyla yaklaşık olarak %36 ve %6 oranında daha düşük bulunmuştur. T ve MT gruplarının Abdominal yağ miktarları da kontrol M grubuna göre T ve MT gruplarında sırasıyla %9 ve %38 oranında daha az bulunmuştur. Mısır yerine farklı seviyelerde fitaz dâhil enzim ilave edilmemiş tritikale ile beslenen etlik piliçlerde tritikale kullanımı arttıkça kesim canlı ağırlığı, karkas ağırlığı ve karkas parçaları benzer yüzdelik oranlarda negatif olarak etkilenmişlerdir

Effects of Triticale Replacement without Any Enzymes on Carcass Performance of Broiler Chickens

The effects of different levels of triticale replacement with maize base diets without any enzymes supplementation on carcass performance of broiler chickens were studied.A 42-day feeding trial involving sexed 960 day old Ross-308 broilers with 48 group four replicates for 3 feed treatments in 4 rooms was carried out in a completely randomized design to evaluate the slaughter and carcass traits. Starter (23% CP and 3000 kcal ME/kg of feed), grower (21% CP and 3175kcal ME/kg of feed), and finisher diets (20 CP and 3225 kcal ME/kg of feed) were provided from 0 to 11, from 12 to 28, from 29-42 days of age as the dietary phase respectively. Diets containing either maize (M) as a control group; triticale (T) as a sole grain source and Maize+Triticale (MT) mixture were used. Triticale was provided % 50, 55 and %58 in starter, grower and finisher M and T groups’ diets in totally and MT group percentage was 25%, 27.5, and 29% in the feeding periods respectively. No enzyme added to diets phytase included. At 42 d, 6 bird (3 male and 3 female) per pen in total 288 birds were carried to Research Institute’s processing plant. The plucked, eviscerated carcasses were evaluated for carcass traits. Overall, the triticale-fed birds had lower final body weight (BW) and higher feed conversion ratio (FCR). Eviscerated carcass, thigh, drum and breast as a percentage of carcass weight were lower in T and MT groups 36 and 6% than M (control group) respectively. Abdominal fat yield in T and MT groups were also lower 9 and 38% than those of M group. Final BW, carcass weight and slaughter traits of broilers fed triticale were affected negatively within similar percentage by increasing inclusion of triticale to diets without any enzyme (phytase included)
