Peyzaj Planlama Aşamasında Önemli Etkenlerden Olan Sıcaklık, Yağış Ve İklim Tiplerinde, Küresel İklim Değişikliğine Bağlı Olarak Meydana Gelebilecek Değişiklikler: Mersin Kent Örneği

Küresel iklim değişikliği bütün dünyada canlıları ve ekosistemleri doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak etkileyecek bir süreç olarak görülmektedir. Bu süreçte iklim parametreleri ve iklim tiplerinde meydana gelecek değişikliklerin önceden belirlenmesi, alınabilecek tedbirler ve sürece hazırlıklı olunması bakımından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada da ülkemizin önemli kentlerinden birisi olan Mersin il genelinde bazı iklim parametreleri ve iklim tiplerinde küresel iklim değişikliğinin sebep olabileceği değişikliklerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında sıcaklık, yağış ve iklim tiplerinin (De Martone ve Emberger iklim sınıflandırmasına göre) mevcut durumları ile RCP 4.5 ve RCP 8.5. senaryoları ışığında 2050 ve 2070 yıllarındaki olası durumlarının kıyaslanması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma sonuçları Mersin il genelinde sıcaklık, yağış ve bunlara bağlı olarak iklim tiplerinin önemli ölçüde değişeceğini göstermektedir. Günümüzde -0,4°C ile 19°C arasında değişen sıcaklığın, RCP 8.5 senaryosuna göre 2070 yılında il genelinde 4,9°C ile 24°C arasında değişeceği yani sıcaklık değişim aralığında 5°C civarında bir artış olacağı, yağış rejiminin değişeceği, iklim tiplerinin kurak iklim tiplerine doğru kayacağı tahmin edilmektedir. Bu durum peyzaj planlama çalışmalarında, planlama kriterlerinin en önemlilerinden olan iklim faktörlerinin önemli ölçüde değişeceğini göstermektedir. Peyzaj planlama çalışmaları, etkilerini uzun yıllar sürdürdüğünden, sağlıklı bir planlama yapılabilmesi için bu durumun mutlaka göz önüne alınması önerilmektedir. Mersin ili için yapılacak planlama çalışmalarında, bu çalışma sonuçlarından yararlanılmalıdır

The Changing of Important Factors in The Landscape Planning Occur Due to Global Climate Change in Temperature, Rain and Climate Types: A Case Study of Mersin City

Global climate change is seen as a process that will directly or indirectly affect living things andecosystems all over the world. In this process, determining the changes in climate parameters andclimate types in advance is of great importance in terms of the measures that can be taken and thepreparation for the process. In this study, it is aimed to determine the changes that may be caused byglobal climate change in some climate parameters and climate types in Mersin, which is one of theimportant cities of our country. Within the scope of the study, the current status of temperature,precipitation and climate types (according to De Martone and Emberger climate classification) andRCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5. It is aimed to compare the possible situations in 2050 and 2070 in the light ofscenarios. The results of the study show that temperature, precipitation and climate types will changesignificantly throughout Mersin province. Today, the temperature varying between -0.4°C and 19°Cwill change between 4.9°C and 24°C throughout the province in 2070 according to the RCP 8.5scenario, that is, there will be an increase of around 5°C in the temperature change interval, theprecipitation regime will change, Climate types are predicted to shift towards arid climates. Thissituation shows that climate factors, one of the most important planning criteria, will changesignificantly in landscape planning studies. Since landscape planning studies continue their effectsfor many years, it is recommended to take this into consideration in order to make a healthy planning.The results of this study should be used in the planning studies for Mersin province
