Farkındalık Eğitim ve Uygulamalarının Terapistlerin Kişisel Yaşamlarına Etkisi: Bir Meta-Sentez Çalışması
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, ruh sağlığı alanında çalışan klinisyenlerin farkındalık uygulama ve eğitim deneyimleri ile bu uygulamaların kişisel iyilik hallerine etkisini inceleyen niteliksel çalışmaların sistematik bir şekilde bir araya getirilmesi ve bu çalışmaların bir meta sentezinin yapılmasıdır.Yöntem: Bu amaca uygun olarak Web of Science (SSCI, SCI, AHCI), Scopus, MEDLINE, PsycInfo ve PsycArticles veri tabanları belirlenen anahtar sözcüklerle (mindfulness; therapist; psychotherapist; counselor; counsellor) sistematik bir şekilde taranmış ve ilişkili olabilecek yayınlar seçilmiştir. Klinisyenlerin ya da klinisyen adaylarının farkındalık uygulamaları ve farkındalık eğitimini incelemeye yönelik olarak yürütülmüş 13 niteliksel araştırma çalışmaya dâhil edilmiştir.Söz konusu çalışmalar Timulak’ın (2009) önerdiği “niteliksel betimsel-yorumlayıcı analiz” yöntemi ile incelenmiş ve sonuçlar “ikincil bir niteliksel çalışma” olarak yani niteliksel çalışmaların nitel analizi şeklinde rapor edilmiştir.Bulgular: Çalışma sonucunda birincil niteliksel analizlere paralel olarak “farkındalık”, “kabul”, “bakım” gibi temalar öne çıksa da, birincil çalışmaların çok da üzerinde durmadığı önemli özellikler de gözlemlenmiştir. Buna göre farkındalık odaklı eğitim ve uygulamaların zorlukları da ayrı bir tema olarak öne çıkmaktadır.Tartışma: Farkındalık odaklı eğitim ve uygulamalar hasta ve danışanlar için önemli olduğu kadar terapistler için de çeşitli açılardan önem arz etmektedir. Bu tür uygulamaların terapistlerin kişisel gelişim ve öznel iyilik haline olumlu katkılar sunduğu ancak söz konusu uygulamaların hayata geçirilme aşamasında ortaya çıkabilecek olası zorlukların hesaba katılarak alternatif müdahaleler ya da programlar geliştirilmesinin önemi dikkat çekmektedir.
