Tropisetronun şaşılık cerrahisi sonrası bulantı ve kusma üzerine etkisi

Bu, çalışmada, şaşılık ameliyatı sonrası sıkça görülen postoperatif bulantı ve kusma (POBK) üzerine tropisetronun profilaktik antiemetik etkinliği değerlendirilmiştir. Etik komite izni alındıktan sonra, yaşlan 3-12 arasında değişen A.SA. I-II sınıf 40 hasta rasgele, prospektif ve plasebo kontrollü olarak çalışma kapsamına alındı. Hastalar premedike edilmediler ve anestezi indüksiyonu 6 mg/kg tiyyopenlon veya % 50 N2O-O2 içerisinde % 8 sevofluran ile sağlandı. Trakea entübasyonu için 0.7 mg/kg vekuronyum, anestezi idamesinde de % 2-3 sevofluran, % 50 N2O-O2 karışımı içinde verildi. İndüksiyonda birinci gruba 1 mg/m2 tropisetron, ikinci gruba % 0.9 NaCl verildi. Hastalar 0-2., 2-6. saat ve 6-24. saatlerde POBK, şikayet ve yan etkiler açısından değerlendirildiler. The effect of tropisetron on postoperative nausea and vomiting after strabismus surgery

Antiemetic effectiveness of tropisetron on postoperative nausea and vomiting, frequently seen after strabismus surgery was evaluated in this study. Following approval of the study by local ethics committee, 40 patients, ASA physical status I and 11, 3-12-year-old, were included in this randomized, prospective and placebo-controlled study. Patients were not premedicated and induction of anaesthesia was induced with 6 mg/kg thiopentone or sevoflurane 8 % and 50 % N2O in oxygen. Vecuronium 0.1 mg/kg was administrated to facilitate tracheal intubation. Anaesthesia was maintained with N2O 50 % and sevoflurane 2-3 % in oxygen. One mg/m2 tropisetron was given in the first group and 0.9 % NaCl in the second group at induction. Postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) complaints and side effects were assessed in all patients at postoperative 0-2nd hour, 2-6 hour and 6-24th hour time intervals.
