Anaphylactic reaction with cisatracurium (Case report)

Anaphylatic reaction associated with cisatracurium is seen rearly. Thease incident challenge existing views of a substantially reduced anaphylactoid existing wiews of a substantially reduces anaphylactoid potential of cisatracurium relative to order muscle relaxants. We aimed to present anaphylactic reaction due to cisatracurium with help to literature knowledge. A 36 years old man with mandibula fracture scheaduled for mandibula reconstruction with no history of allergy was taken to the operation room. After anaesthesia induction with 2 mg/kg propofol and 0.1 mg/kg İ.v cisatracurium parient developed anaphylactic reaction and was resusciated successfully. After treatment in intensive care unit patient was operated successfully under local anaesthesia.
