Epidermolizis bullozada anestezi (Olgu sunumu)
Anaesthesia in epidermolysis bullosa (Case report)
Epidermolysis bullosa is a rarae, genetically determined disorder, clnically presentes recurrent cutaneous blister formation with possible involvement pf mucous membranes even after a small trauma. Adhesive pads, ECG electrodes, face masks, airway and endotracheal tube may easley result in new bullae formation in these patients. A variety of general , regional and local anaesthetic techniques have been used in patients with epidermolysis bullosa. We describe the general anaesthesia performed in a 51 year old women with recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa who underwent reconstructive surgery of extremities and the steps taken to ensure protection of the skin and airway.
