Prematüre osteopenisi tanısında tübüler fosfor reabsorbsiyonunun yerinin değerlendirilmesi

Amaç: Bu çalışmada prematüre osteopenisi tanısında biyokimyasal be-lirteçlere ek olarak tübüler fosfor reabsorbsiyonunun kullanılabilirliği-nin araştırılmasını amaçladık.Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışmaya Haziran 2009-Mart 2011 yılları ara-sında yenidoğan yoğun bakım birimine yatırılan, ≤ 32 hafta ya/ya da≤ 1 500 gr, erken doğmuş bebekler alındı. Bu bebekler 40. gebelikhaftalarında değerlendirilerek; serum kalsiyum, fosfor, alkalen fosfa-taz, üre, kreatinin, idrar serum kalsiyum, fosfor düzeyleri bakılaraktübüler fosfor reabsorbsiyonu saptandı. Assessment of the place of tubular reabsorption of phosphorus in the diagnosis of osteopenia of prematurity

Aim: In this study, we aimed to investigate the utility of tubular reabsorp-tion of phosphorus in the diagnosis of osteopenia of prematurity in addi-tion to biochemical markers.Material and Methods: Premature babies with a gestational age of ≤32weeks and/or a birth weight of ≤1 500 g who were hospitalized in theneonatal intensive care unit between June 2009 and March 2011 were in-cluded in the study. These babies were evaluated at the 40th gestationalweek and serum calcium, phosphorus, alkaline phosphatase, urea, creati-nine, urinary calcium and phosphorus levels were measured and tubularreabsorption of phosphorus was determined.
