Bird fancier s lung disease: A single center experience
Bird fancier s lung disease is an immune-mediated lung disease caused by organic antigens of birds. It is a rare hypersensitivity pneumonitis in children. Here, we presented four children diagnosed with Bird fancier s lung disease that admitted complaints of recurrent respiratory system. To the best of our knowledge, the first case is the youngest patient in English language literature. Bird fancier s lung disease should be considered presenting with symtoms of chronic respiratory disease in children and persistently questioned history of bird feeding.
