Cornelia de Lange syndrome is a very rare developmental malformation syndrome of unknown aetiology and sporadic inheritence The features of this syndrome are characteristic dysmophic face features and shortness of stature of prenatal onset severe psychomotor retardation and skeletal anomalies upper limb reduction Diagnosis is dependent on the recognition of the distinctive facial features In this article a case of Cornelia de Lange syndrome with severe hand anomaly together with typical face features is reported and the literature is reviewed Key words: Cornelia De Lanee Syndrome
