WoS ve Scopus Veri Tabanlarının Karşılaştırması

Bu makale, Web of Science WoS ve Scopus veri tabanlarının içerik, konu başlıkları ve coğrafi dağılımları bakımından karşılaştırılmasını içermektedir. Ayrıca çalışma, WoS ve Scopus verilerine dayanılarak Türkiye ’nin 2000-2009 yılları arasındaki on yıllık dönemde Sosyal Bilimler ile Sanat ve Beşeri Bilimler alanlarında yapılan yayınların analizi ile desteklenmiştir. On yıllık dönem içinde veri tabanlarında indekslenen yayınlar, yayın sayıları, ortalama büyüme oranları ve en fazla yayın yapılan konu başlıkları bakımından değerlendirilmiştir.

Comparison of the WoS and Scopus Databases

In this article, WoS and Scopusdatabasesarebeing comparedin termsof their content, subjectheadings and theirregional comprehension. Also,theresearch aresupportedthroughananalysis ofstudies of the Social, Art and Humanities subjects which are publishedin theWoSScopusdatabaseswith Turkish addressbetween2000-2009 years.Inthepastdecade, indexed studies, theincensement inthe number ofpublishing, thesubject headings whichhavepresentedthe mostincreasewereinvestigated
