IASLC akciğer kanseri evrelendirme projesi: küçük hücreli dışı akciğer kanserinde TNM sınıflandırmasının yedinci düzenlemesi için öneriler

Malign Tümörlerin Yedinci TNM Sınıflandırmasının 2009 yılı başlarında yayımlanması beklenmektedir. TNM sınıflandırmasının düzenleme önerilerinde birincil kaynak olarak kabul gören IASLC Akciğer Kanseri Evreleme Projesi 1998 yılında başladı. 1990 ile 2000 yılları arasında tedavi gören küçük hücreli dışı akciğer kanserli 67725 olgu 19 ülkede 46 kaynaktan veritabanına dahil edildi. Bu projeden elde edilen veriler ışığında T, N ve M tanımlayıcılarda oluşturulan değişiklik önerileri TNM altgruplari içine yerleştirildi.

The IASLC lung cancer staging project: proposals for the forthcoming seventh edition of the TNM classification of non-small cell lung cancer

The Seventh Edition of the TNM Classification of Malignant Tumors is due to be published in early 2009. The IASLC Lung Cancer Staging Project, which is accepted as the primary source for revised recommendations for TNM classification, was launched in 1998. Database of this project includes 67,725 cases of non-small cell lung cancer, from 46 sources in 19 countries, which were treated by all modalities of care between 1990 and 2000. In the light of data obtained from this project, the proposals for changes to the T, N, and M descriptors were incorporated into TNM subsets.
