Eşzamanlı kalp ve böbrek nakli

Eş zamanlı kalp ve böbrek nakli, son dönem kalp ve böbrek yetersizliği bulunan hastalarda kabul görmüş bir tedavi seçeneği olmakla beraber, bu tedavinin uzun dönem sonuçları bilinmemektedir. Günümüz literatür verilerine göre eş zamanlı kalp ve böbrek nakli, izole kalp veya böbrek nakline benzer sonuçlar sunmaktadır. Bu yazıda, Türkiye’de başarılı olarak ikinci defa, aynı donörden alınarak gerçekleştirilen eş zamanlı kalp ve böbrek naklinin erken dönem sonuçları sunulmuştur.

Simultaneous heart and kidney transplantation

Simultaneous heart and kidney transplantation is a valid therapeutic option for the patients with end-stage heart and kidney disease; however, the long-term outcomes of the therapy are unknown. According to the current literature data, simultaneous heart and kidney transplantation provides outcomes similar to those for isolated heart or kidney transplantation. In this report, the early results of simultaneous heart and kidney transplantation from the same donor, which was the second successful case in Turkey, were presented.
