Atriyal septal defekt ve retrosternal toksik guatr için aynı seansta cerrahi tedavi: Olgu sunumu

Atriyal septal defekt ve retrosternal toksik guatrın birlikte bulunduğu 55 yaşında kadın hasta, ameliyat öncesinde 20 gün süreyle uygulanan 300 mg/gün dozunda peroral propiltiourasil tedavisi ardından aynı seansta ameliyat edildi. Ameliyat sonrası hiçbir sorunu olmayan hasta altıncı günde taburcu edildi. Hastada altı aylık takip sırasında herhangi bir sorunla karşılaşılmadı

Surgical treatment of atrial septal defect and retrosternal toxic goitre in the same session: A case report

A 55-year-old female patient underwent surgery in the same session for atrial septal defect and retrosternal toxic goiter following treatment with 300 mg/day propylthiouracil for 20 days. After an uneventful postoperative course she was discharged on the sixth day of operation. No complications were encountered during a follow-up of six months.
