Temporomandibular disfonksiyon tedavisi: ev egzersizi ve manual tedavinin karşılaştırılması

Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı, temporomandibular eklem disfonksiyonu (TMD) olan hastalarda ev egzersiz tedavisi (ET) ile manuel tedavinin (MT) etkisini dört haftalık tedavi sonrası karşılaştırmaktı. Yöntem: Bu çalışma TMD miyofasiyal ağrılı ve/veya temporomandibular eklem redüksiyonlu disk problemi olan 40 hasta ile gerçekleştirildi. Hastalar rastgele yöntemle ET grubu (N=20) ile MT grubu (N=20) olmak üzere ikiye ayrıldı. ET grubuna, eğitim ile postür egzersizleri verildi. MT grubuna; eğitim, postür egzersizleri ve temporomandibular eklem ve yumuşak doku mobilizasyonu uygulandı. Her iki grupta tedavi öncesi ve tedavi sonrası ağrı ve baş postürü açısından değerlendirildi. Purpose: The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of home exercises therapy (HT) and manual therapy (MT) in patients with temporomandibular disorders (TMD) after 4weeks of intervention period.
