Makalede Özbeklerin saç ile ilgili inançları ve bunların sihirli masallarda ele alınması meselesi üzerinde durulmuştur. “Sihirli saç” ile ilgili epik motiflerin tarihî kökeni tespit edilmiş ve saç teli detayının masal metinlerindeki poetik vazifesi incelenmiştir.

The article is devoted to Uzbek people’s belief connected with hair and to the research of their artistic interpretations in fairy tales. There is clarified the historical bases of epical motives which are connected with “magic hair” and researched poetical functions of hair in the artistic structure of fairy tale.
