SİYASET VE SOSYAL ÇALIŞMA İLİŞKİSİNİ TÜRKİYE İÇİN DÜŞÜNMEK

Sosyal çalışma mesleği ile siyaset arasında, bu mesleğin uygulanmaya başlanmasından bu yana bir ilişkinin bulunduğunu söylemekmümkünse de bu ilişkinin bağlamının ve niteliğinin ne olduğu konusunda tartışmalar bulunmaktadır. Küreselleşmeyle birlikte değişen sosyal ve ekonomik koşullar çerçevesinde sosyal çalışma mesleğindeki dönüşüm, siyaset ve sosyal çalışma arasındaki ilişkinin anlaşılmasını ve sosyal çalışma uygulamalarının siyasi bir uygulama olarak nasıll gerçekleştirilebileceğinin ortaya konulmasını gerekli kılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda sosyal çalışma ve siyaset arasındaki ilişki Türkiye’de siyasi sosyal çalışma uygulamalarının nasıl tasarımlaştırılacağını ortaya koymak amacındadır.

Thinking Relationship Between Politics and Social Work for Turkey

Although it has been suggested that there is a relationship between social work and politics since the emergence of the social work profession, there is a controversy as to the nature and context of this relationship. The transformation of the social work profession, due to changing social and economic conditions due to globalization, makes it necessary to understand the relationship between politics and social work, and to demonstrate how social work could also function in the political arena. In this context, this manuscript aims to demonstrate how social work could also be conceptualized as a political practice in Turkey.
