Anlatmak Eğitim Değildir: Güncellenmiş, Genişletilmiş ve Zenginleştirilmiş

Öğrenci merkezli, performansa dayalı eğitim yaklaşımına dayanan Harold D. Stolovitch ve Erica J. Keeps'in yazdığı bu eser, etkili öğrenme ortamlarını tasarlamada hem teorik hem de pratik bilgiler sağlaması bakımından önemlidir. Basit ve anlaşılır bir üslupta yazılan eserde, eğitim-öğretim alanında herkesçe bilinen kavramların çerçevesi yeniden çizilmiş, çeşitli bilgi türleri arasındaki farklılıklardan yola çıkarak insanları öğrenmeye motive eden ana faktörler açıklanmış ve eğiticilerin bu ilkeleri öğrenme ortamlarında nasıl uygulayacaklarına dair kısa ve sade alıştırmalar ile canlı bir görünüm sunulmuştur. Bu çalışmada amaç; eserin tanıtılması ile öğretimi daha etkili hale getirmek isteyen eğiticilere yardımcı olabilecek ve yön verebilecek bir fikir şeması çizmektir.

Telling Ain’t Training: Updated, Expanded, Enhanced

Based on a learner-centered, performance-based approach to education, this book by Harold D. Stolovitch and Erica J. Keeps provides both theoretical and practical insights into designing effective learning environments. Written in a simple and understandable style, the book re-frames well-known concepts in the field of education and training, explains the main factors that motivate people to learn based on the differences between various types of knowledge, and provides a vivid view of how educators can apply these principles in learning environments with short and simple exercises. The aim of this study is to draw a scheme of ideas that can help and guide educators who want to make teaching more effective by introducing the work.
