Aurikülada arteriyovenöz fistül: Olgu sunumu ve terapötik yaklaşım

Bu yazıda klinikte nadir görülen aurikülada arteriyo- venöz fistül AVF ve tedavisi sunuldu. Sağ auriküla- da AVF saptanan 20 yaşında erkek hastada lezyonu besleyen damarlar süperselektif embolizasyon son- rası ligate edildi. Lezyon boyutu önemli ölçüde geri- ledi ve beş aylık takip süresince herhangi bir komp- likasyonla karşılaşılmadı. Birkaç damar arasında oluşan, küçük boyutlu AVF’lerin tedavisinde geniş rezeksiyon yerine, bu damarların selektif embolizas- yonunu takiben ligasyonu tatmin edici sonuçlar sağ- layabilir

Auricular arteriovenous fistula: a case report and therapeutic approach

A case of arteriovenous fistula AVF arising in the auricle was presented together with its treatment. A 20-year-old man with an AVF on the right auricle was successfully treated with superselective embolization followed by ligation of the arteries supplying the fistula. The lesion underwent considerable regression within a follow-up period of five months and no com- plications were encountered. Small AVFs existing among several vessels can be satisfactorily treated by embolization and ligation of the vessels instead of extensive resection of the lesion.
