The importance of washing treatments carried out after reactive dyeing and parameters that determine the efficiency of these processes

Reactive dyes, always keep their importance in textile dyeing as a result of their advantage of having high color fastness and wide color scale. In cotton dyeing, they are the dyestuff class which have the most excessive usage increase and their increase speed is 4-5 times of the other dyestuff classes. But, during dyeing with these dyestuffs, the hydrolization of dyestuff may decrease dyeing efficiency and may make much harder the washing treatments after dyeing. It is very important to remove dyestuff hydrolizate from the textile material by washing treatments for a qualified production. Researches are continuing in order to make these processes efficient and suitable for this purpose.
