Moldova Cumhuriyeti’nin güneyinde Gagauziya bölgesinde konuşulan Gagauz dilini diğer Oğuz grubu Türk dillerinden ayıran en önemli yönü söz dizimidir. Gagauzcanın söz dizimi dikkat çekici ve kendine has söz dizimsel yapılara sahiptir. 1904’den günümüze kadar yazılmış ve/veya çevrilmiş metinlerde Rusçanın etkisi dilin her alanında az çok görülmektedir. Dillerin birbirleri üzerindeki etkileri çoğunluk itibarıyla kelimelerde; nadir olmak üzere dilin şekil bilgisi ve söz dizimi alanlarında görülür. Bu çalışmada, Gagauz Türkçesinin cümle yapısını Genel Türkçeye göre önemli ölçüde değiştiren yabancı söz dizimsel yapıların Gagauzcayı ne şekilde etkilediği üzerinde durulacak ve verilecek örnek cümleler Rusçanın ve Türkiye Türkçesinin cümle yapısıyla karşılaştırılacaktır.

The most important aspect that distinguishes the Gagauzian language, which is spoken in the region of Gagauzia in the south of the Republic of Moldavia, from the other Turkic languages within the group of Oghuz is its syntax. The syntax of Gagauzian has striking and peculiar syntactic structures. The influence of Russian on the texts that have been written and/or translated since 1904 is somewhat obvious in every aspect of the language. The influence of one language on another is generally seen in the words of the language and it is seldom seen in the morphology and the syntax of the languages. In this study, we will examine in what ways foreign syntactic structures, which have transformed the structure of Gagauzian Turkish from the General Turkish, influenced Gagauzian and also example sentences to be given will be contrasted with the sentence structures of Russian and Turkish spoken in Turkey
