Bu çalışmada Ferīd Kām'ın Vahdet-i Vücūd adlı eserinin tanıtımı yapılarak akademik çevrenin dikkatine arz edilmektedir. Ferid Kam'ın bu kitabı Cumhuriyet döneminde vahdet-i vücud hakkında yazılan ilk eserlerden biridir. Ferīd Kām'in vahdet-i vücūd kavramını nasıl tahlil edip yorumladığı ve panteizmle mukayese edilerek nasıl açıklandığı üzerinde durulmaktadır. Çünkü Ferīd Kām bir taraftan panteizmin mahiyeti, esasları, çeşitleri, ve tarihi gelişim sürecini ele alırken, diğer taraftan tasavvuf erbabının ortaya koyduğu vahdet-ı vücudu müslüman düşünürlerin nasıl algıladıklarını açıklamaktadır.

In this study we introduce Ferīd Kām's work, entitled Wahdat al-Wujūd, to the attention of academic circles. We concentrate on the way how Ferīd Kām analyzes the concept of wahdat al-wujūd and compares it with philosophical and mystical pantheism. While on the one hand Kām elaborates on the essence, principles, varieties, and historical development of pantheism, on the other hand he focuses on the Sufi concept of wahdat al-wujūd and how the Sufi authoritative figures perceive and formulate this subtle notion.
