HEMŞİRELİK ÖĞRENCİLERİNDE PROBLEM ÇÖZME BECERİSİNİN KLİNİK KARAR VERME DÜZEYLERİNE ETKİSİ

AmaçBu çalışma hemşirelik öğrencilerinde problem çözme becerisinin klinik karar verme düzeylerine etkisini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Materyal ve MetodTanımlayıcı ve korelasyonel nitelikte olan araştırmanın örneklemini bir devlet üniversitesinin sağlık bilimleri fakültesi hemşirelik bölümünde eğitim gören 231öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veriler, problem çözme envanteri ve hemşirelikte klinik karar verme ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır.BulgularÖğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 21.07 ± 1.64, % 68.4’ü kadın, %39’u ikinci sınıf öğrencisi olarak bulunmuştur. Öğrencilerin problem çözme becerilerinin yüksekolduğu, cinsiyet ve sınıf düzeyinin problem çözme becerileri anlamında fark yaratmadığı buna karşın bölümü isteyerek seçme, mesleği sevme, teorik bilgiyiuygulamaya yansıtma ve klinik uygulamada sorun yaşama durumlarına göre farklılıklar olduğu bulunmuştur (p

THE EFFECT OF PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY ON CLINICAL DECISION MAKING LEVELS IN NURSING STUDENTS

Objective This study was undertaken to evaluate the effect of problem solving skills on clinical decision making levels in nursing students. Material and Method The sample of the study which has descriptive and correlational characteristics was composed of 231 students who get educated in the faculty of health sciences nursing department of a state university. The data were collected through problem-solving inventory and clinical decision-making scale in nursing. Results The average age of the students was determined as 21.07 ± 1.64, 68.4% were female and 39% were at their second year of education. It was determined that problem solving skills of the students were high, gender and level of class did not make any difference in terms of problem solving skills, on the other hand, differences were observed due to voluntarily choosing the department, loving the profession, having problems in implementing theoretical knowledge and clinical implementation (p
