Taşucu Körfezi (Doğu Akdeniz) karides trollerinde hedef dışı av

Bu çalışma, Taşucu Körfezi (Doğu Akdeniz) karides trollerinde hedef dışı av miktarının tespitini amaçlamaktadır. Denemler, 44 mm torba ağ göz açıklığına sahip 400 göz geleneksel karides trol ağı kullanan üç farklı karides trol teknesi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Toplam 32 adet trol örneklemesinin 118,5 (% 6) kg’ını hedef av, 317 (% 17) kg’ını tesadüfi ve 1,420 (% 77) kg’ını ıskarta ürün oluşmuştur.

By-catch in Taşucu Bay (Eastern Mediterranean) shrimp trawls

The aim of this study is to determine the by-catch level for shrimp trawls in the Taşucu Bay (Eastern Mediterranean). 32 hauls were done by three commercial shrimp trawlers, were carried out in legal fishing areas, by using traditional shrimp trawl nets, which have 400 meshes around the mouth and 44 mm mesh opening in the codend. 32 trawl samples were composed of 118.5 (6 %) kg target catch, 317 (17 %) kg incidental catch and 1.420 (77 %) kg discards.
