Mersin bölgesinde japon (Carassius auratus L., 1758) balıkları yetiştiriciliği yapan bir akvaryum işletmesinde görülen Trichodina sp enfastasyonu

Bu araştırma Temmuz- Ağustos 2005 tarihleri arasında Mersin bölgesin’de bir akvaryum işletmesinde Japon (Carassius auratus L.1758 )balıklarında görülen ani mortalitenin nedenini ortaya koymak için yapılmıştır. Ölmek üzere olan balıklar parazitolojik ve bakteriyolojik yönden incelendi. Mortalitenin Trichodina sp. den kaynaklandığı tespit edildi. Parazitli balıklardan hazırlanan solungaç doku örneklerinin histopatolojik muayenesinde parazitin solungaç dokuya yerleştiği ve epitelyumunda hiperplaziye neden olduğu belirlenmiştir. Enfeksiyonun tedavisinde Chloramin-T 15 mg l Î¹ konsatrasyonunda 60 dakika /2-3 gün banyo uygulaması etkili olmuştur. Uygulama sonrasında mortalitenin durduğu gözlenmiştir.

The infection of Trichodina sp. in some of the aquarium fishes (Carassius auratus L., 1758) in Mersin district.

The infection of Trichodina sp. in some of the aquarium fishes (Carassius auratus L., 1758) in Mersin district. This study were conducted between July-August 2005 in order to find out the reason of instant mortality of Carassius auratus (L., 1758) fishes in some of the aquarium facility in Mersin district. The moribund fish parasitological and bacteriological point of view. Trichodina sp. was found responsible high mortality. The histopathology samples from the gill tissues of infested fish were examined and hyperplasia of epithelial in the gill lamella of the fish was markely determined. Fish were succesfully treated with Chloramin-T bath (15 mg l Î¹, 60minutes/2-3day). After Chloramin-T applications the mortality stopped.
