Bu çalışmada besin olarak değerlendirilip yenen bir bölüm olan Chlorophyta (=Yeşil Algler)'a ait Cladophora glomerata (tatlı su ortamından toplanmışının toplam protein miktarı oldukça fazla tespit edilmiş olup, amino asitlerden sırasıyla glutamik asit, prolin ve aspartik asit en yüksek oranda, methionin ve sistin ise en düşük oranda bulunmuştur.

Determination of amino acid contents of Cladophora glomerata (L.) Kütz. (Chlorophyta). In this investigation, total protein and amino acids content of Cladophora glomerata (collected from freshwater medium) belongs to divisio Chlorophyta (=Green Algae) which have importance as food material. The total protein amount were determined as high level. Besides that, some proteins such as glutamic acid, prolin and aspartic acid were detected in high ratio while methionin and sistin in low.
