Bakırın Clarias lazera (Valenciennes, 1840)' da doku glikojen ve serum glukoz düzeyi üzerine etkileri

Clarias lazera (Valenciennes, 1840) ile yapılan bu araştırmada, balıklar 7,15 ve 30 gün sürelerle bakırın 0.1,0.5 ve 1.0 ppm ortam derişimlerinin etkisinde bırakılarak, metalin karaciğer ve kas dokularındaki glikojen düzeyi ile serum glukoz düzeyi üzerine etkilerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Doku glikojen düzeyinin belirlenmesinde Antron, serum glukoz düzeyinin belirlenmesinde ise O-Toluidin yöntemi kullanılmıştır. İncelenen bakır derişimlerinin, belirlenen sürelerde C. lazera'nın doku glikojen ve serum glukoz düzeylerini etkileyerek karbonhidrat metabolizmasında önemli değişimlere neden olduğu saptanmıştır.

Effects of copper on tissue glycogen and sera glucose levels of Clarias lazera (Valenciennes, 1840)

Effects of copper on liver and muscle glycogen and sera glucose levels of Clarias lazera (Valenciennes, 1840) were determined after exposing the animals to 0.1,0.5 and 1.0 ppm Cu over 7,15 and 30 days periods. Anthron and O-toluidine methods were used for the determination of tissue glycogen and sera glucose levels respectively. The studied copper concentrations caused significant alterations in the carbohydrate metabolism of C. lazera by effecting tissue glycogen and sera glucose levels during the exposure periods studied.
