Bu çalismada, saglikli kentlesme süreci esaslari ele alinmistir. Saglikli ve sagliksiz kentlesmede yerel yönetimlerin dikkat etmesi gereken hususlar açiklanmis ve çözüm önerileri ileri sürülmüstür. Bu çerçevede, sehirleri çekici hale getiren ve kirdan kente göç edilmesine sebep olan "kentlesme sebepleri" anlatilmistir. Ayrica nüfusun artmasiyla birlikte altyapi ve teknik yönden hazirliksiz yakalanan sehirlerde ortaya çikan "kentlesme sorunlari" ve bazi sagliklastirma yöntemlerinden de bahsedilmistir. Sorunlarin çözümünde geç kalindikça, çagdas kentlesme kriterlerinden de uzaklasilacaktir. Bu asamada, kenti kent yapan unsurlari belirlemeli ve çözüm önerilerini bu dogrultuda gelistirmelidir. Kisa vadeli çözümler yerine, orta veya özellikle uzun vadeli stratejiler hayata geçirilmelidir.

In this study, the mains of the healthy urbanization process have been considered. The points of local governments' pay attention for in healthy and unhealthy urbanization have been explained and suggestions of solution have been put forward. In this situation; "Renses of Urbanization" which gets urbans more attractive and supply an immigration from field to urban have been mentioned. "Urbanization Problems" that occurred in the cities were caught without prepare as well as increasing the population and some "Methods of Rehabilations" have been also mentioned. When the problems of urbanization's solution has been late; criteria's of modern urbanization will be became distant. In this phase, the elements of for a real city have to be determined and suggestions of solution have to be developed in this way. Middle or especially long deferred strategies have to be realized, instead of short deferred solutions.
