THE STORY OF A CLAMPED PAW IN FOLKLORE AND LITERATURE OF BASHKIRS AND TATARS

Abstract This article analyzes the folk story about the clamped paw. The article made a comparative analysis of the three Russian translations of poems Gabdulla Tukai "Shuraleh" and Bashkir tales Shuraleh recorded in the Primorye Territory in the late twentieth century. The features of the functioning of the plot of the paw clamped in the artwork, and text of oral traditions of the Turkic peoples of Russia –and Bashkirs.
