Abstract Riddles are considered by the author as a peculiar cumulative layer of the cultural and significant information correlated to a view of the world. In this article the analysis of semantic structure of antroponims in the Yakut riddles. The semantic analysis of the nominations of denotats is given in a wide folklore, cultural and ethnographic context. Antroponims are classified by the following groups: nicknames, fairy and mythological names and the personal names borrowed from Russian.
