The production of colorless glass bowls has started as an imitation of rock cyristals in Assur between 8th and 7th century BC. This colorless glass cointainers industry became widespread in many centers of the Empire in 4th century BC, in conjunction with the bringing of the region under control by Achaemenid Empire. However, the timeframe between these two periods is a stagnation era for colorless glasses. A glass bowl fragment which has been recovered in Klaros is one of the scarce productions for understanding this timeframe.
