Bu yazı, Çelebi Hüsameddin’in halife seçilmesi ve bu hadiseyle ilgili problemleri ihtivaetmektedir. Şems-i Tebrîzî ve Selahaddin Zerkub’a gösterilen tepkiler sebebiyle ileride aynıproblemlerle karşılaşmak istemeyen Mevlânâ kendi yerine herkes tarafından tanınan ÇelebiHüsameddin’i seçmiş ve onun için devlet adamlarından destek almıştır. Ancak alınan butedbirler Sultan Veled’i destekleyen bir grubun Çelebi’ye karşı çıkmasına mani olamamıştır.

This paper is to deal with the appointment of Hüsameddin Çelebi as Halife, his opponets and the problems around this this event. It also deals with the reactions Mevlânâ had previously come across about Şems-i Tebrîzî and Selahaddin Zerkub from his followers, the selection of Çelebi Hüsameddin as halife well-known by the followers and people, as well as the supports he received from the statemen. It also covers the developments after the appointment of Çelebi Hüsameddin as halife and the the reactions made by the followers of Sultan Veled.
