Türk Fütüvvet teşkilatı (Ahilik) Müslüman Türk Milletinin sosyo-kültürel vesosyo-ekonomik hayatının şekillenmesinde önemli rollere sahip olmuş bir teşkilatınadıdır. Anadolu Selçuklularının hakimiyeti esnasında dönemin sosyo-ekonomik vesosyo-kültürel şartları altında gelişmiştir. Hakiki mana ve derin anlamınımutasavvıfların katkılarıyla kazanan fütüvvetçilikle kadim Türk medeniyeti değerlerininsentezi bu teşkilatın karakterinin şekillenişinde etkili olmuştur. Yaklaşık bin yıldır buörgüt, Türk Milletinin Anadolu’daki sosyal, ekonomik, dini, ahlaki, kültürel ve politikhayatında önemli fonksiyonlar yerine getirmiştir. Özellikle, dini ve ahlaki temelleredayalı bir iktisat anlayışıyla sadece Türk insanı arasında, özellikle Türk Esnaf vesanatkarları arasında nesiller boyu süren iş ve ahlaki ilkelerin gelişmesine katkıdabulunmuştur. Modern dünyada, Türk Fütüvvet örgütünün (Ahiliğin) varlığından sözedemesek de onun ahlaki ilkeleri hala özellikle de günümüz Türk esnaf ve sanatkarlarıarasında varlığını sürdürmektedir.

Turkish Futuwwa Organization (Ahilik) is the name of an organization that had a decisive role in shaping socio-cultural as well as the socio-economic life of Muslim Turkish nation. It has developed during the Anatolian Seljuks reign under the socioeconomic and socio-cultural conditions of that era. The synthesis between the values of ancient Turkish civilization and the Futuwwa idealism that had gained its proper and deepest meaning by the contribution of Sufis, had became effective in shaping the main peculiarities of this organization. More or less for a thousand year, this organization has executed decisive functions in social, economic, religious, ethical, cultural and political life of Turkish Nation in Anatolia. Especially, by help of an economic mind that was based on religious and ethical sources, it has contributed to the development of work and ethical principals continued for generations among not only the Turkish guilds and artisans but the Turkish people as well. Although it is not possible to speak of the presence of Turkish Futuwwa organization in the modern world, its ethical principles still has presence especially among today’s Turkish guilds and the artisans
