Soldere havzasının jeomorfolojik özelliklerine morfometrik yaklaşım: Jeomorfik indisler ile bir uygulama

Soldere Havzasında drenaj kuruluşu ve gelişimi kaya direnci faktörü ve tektonik denetimlidir. Drenaj kuruluşunun ilk safhasında Kuzey Anadolu Fayı’nın Bursa-Ulubat kolu havzanın açıldığı platonun güneye doğru çarpılmasına yol açmış ve bu çarpılmış topografya üzerinde eğime konsekant ilk drenaj kuruluşu gerçekleşmiştir. Soldere’nin vadi yeri seçiminde KD-GB yönlü Soldere Fayı rol oynamıştır. Havzanın orta kesiminde izlenen D-B yönlü bir başka fay Soldere’nin Karakaya Formasyonu üzerinde gençleşmesine yol açmıştır. Morfometrik veriler arazi gözlemleri ile deneştirildiğinde Soldere’nin kanal morfolojisi ile havza gelişiminin tektonik ile ilişkili olduklarını göstermektedir.

Drainage construction in the Soldere Basin is controlled by rock resistance and tectonic activities. In initial stage of drainage construction, the Bursa-Ulubat segment of the North Anatolian Fault caused the plateau to have been tilted southward that resulted in initial consequent drainage construction. The NE-SW-trending Soldere Fault has also played an important role on the alignment of the Soldere valley. An east-west trending normal fault in central part of the basin caused the Soldere Creek to cut into the Karakaya Formation. The combined morphometric data, field observations and geomorphic indices indicate that channel morphology and basin development in the catchment of Soldere Creek are tectonically induced.
