Hadim (Konya) dolayındaki Triyas (?) yaşlı Zindancık metaolistostromu içerisinde yeralan metaçörtler, bu makalenin konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Zindancık metaolistostromu, kireçtaşı ve mermer blokları içeren sleyt, fillit, metakumtaşı, metaçamurtaşı ve metaçörtlerden oluşur. Genellikle gri, soluk yeşil renkli olan metaçörtler, bazende sarı, pembe, kırmızı ve kahvemsi renklidirler. Jeolojik veriler ile kimyasal ve mineralojik bileşenlere göre bu çörtlerin, kıta kenarında çökeldikleri anlaşılmıştır.

The Zindancik metaolistostrome is composed of slate, phyllite, metasandstone, metamudstone, metachert, and limestone blocks and marble blocks. All these units occur interlayered with each other. Zindancik metaolistostrome is of a Triassic (?) age. The metachert is usually gray, pale green in colour, but some are yellow, pink or reddish and brown in colour. The geologic chemical and rnineralogic compositions of the cherts indicate that they were deposited in continental margin.
