Para Coğrafyasında Kurumcu Bir Çözümlemenin Gerekliliği

Bu makale, para coğrafyasının bir alt disiplin olarak kuramsal gelişimine, kurumcu yaklaşımın katkıları üzerinde durmaktadır. Paranın sosyo-mekansal ilişkileri biçimlendiren ve aynı ilişkilerce biçimlenen özü, para ve fınansın farklı kurumsal coğrafyalarının oluşumunda temel olan belirli bir mekan-zamana özgülük vurgusunu da içinde barındırmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, bankacılık sisteminin mekandaki farklı örgütlenme biçimlerinin çözümlenmesinde, para, mekan, güç ve teknoloji etkileşimin esas olduğu bir kavramsal çerçevenin gerekliliği, kurumcu yaklaşımın kuramsal temelleri içinde anlamlı hale gelmektedir. Türkiye'de şube bankacılığının coğrafi tercihlerini belirgin bir biçimde biçimlendiren paranın mekansal süreçleri (kamu fınansal mekanın türdeşleşmesi, finansal dışlama ve finansal yoğunlaşma), bu açıdan kurumcu yaklaşımın çözümleme alanında açıklayıcı bir güç kazanmaktadır.

This paper concentrates on the contributions of the institutional approach to the theoretical development of the geography of money as a sub-discipline. The essence of money shaping the socio-spatial relations and shaped by the same relations also includes a certain emphasis on spatio-temporal peculiarities. in this context, to analysis the different spatial- organizational forms of banking system, a need for a theoretical framevvork based on the interaction between money, space, power and technology becomes expressive in the theoretical foundations of institutionalism. The spatial processes of money (homogenization of public financial space, financial exclusion and financial concentration) shaping the geographical preferences of branch banking in Turkey gain explanatory power in the analysis area of institutionalism.
