Antiferromagnetic Structure of the PrMn1.6Fe0.4Ge2 Compound above Curie Temperature

The magnetic properties and structure of PrMn1.6Fe0.4Ge2 compound that crystallize in ThCr2Si2-type tetragonal structure (space group: I4/mmm) have been investigated by magnetic measurements and neutron diffraction experiments. The result of magnetic measurements in a weak external field shows that there is an antiferromagnetic ordering above Curie temperature. The magnetic structure of this antiferromagnetic ordering has been determined by powder neutron diffraction at the different temperature above Curie temperature T = 230 K.
