Bu çalışmada, $\beta^{\ast}$-küme ve $\beta^{\ast}$-süreklilik kavramları tanımlanmış ve çalışılmıştır, $\beta^{\ast}$-sürekliliğin $\alpha$-süreklilikle birlikte sürekliliği gerektirdiği ispatlanmıştır. Sürekliliğin bu ayrışımının, literatürde mevcut olan ayrışımlardan bağımsız olduğu gösterilmiştir.

In this paper, we introduce the notion of a $\beta^{\ast}$-set in a topological space and the concept of $\beta^{\ast}$-continuity of functions between topological spaces, and prove that a function is continuous if and only if it is both a-continuous and $\beta^{\ast}$-continuous. Our decomposition of continuity is different from Levine's |5|. We also point out that $\beta^{\ast}$-continuity is different from thirteen known continuities in weak sense.
