Contemporary British Playwrlnghts, Pinter handles the reality of man in his plays. Room lays a major role in his plays. Lack of communication, warmth of a room and fear of outside world constitute most of the themes of Pinter plays. On the other hand, Pinter does not give clear explanation on the characters encountered unexpected events in their rooms.
