Ferula Communis’in (Çakşır Otu) Neden Olduğu Karaciğer Toksisitesi: Vaka Sunumu
Doğada yetişen bitkiler yüzyıllardır çeşitli hastalıkların tedavisinde kullanılması ve birçok ilacın hammaddesini oluşturmasının yanındabirçoğu da yüksek oranda zehirleyici özelliğe sahiptir. Ferula communis (çakşır otu) günümüzde şifalı bitki olarak tedavi ve beslenme amaçlıtüketilmektedir. Metabolik korunmada anahtar rol oynayan karaciğer; zehirlenmede en fazla etkilenen organdır. Bu yazıda ferula communistüketimi sonrası gelişen toksik karaciğer hastalığı olgusu sunmaktayız.
Liver Toxicity Caused by Ferula Communis: A Case Report
Plants growing in the nature have been used for centuries in the treatment of various diseases and constitute raw materials for many drugs; many also have high poisoning properties. Ferula communis is consumed as a healing plant and a nutritional product nowadays. The liver which plays a key role in metabolic protection is most affected organ in a toxic process. In this article, we present a case of liver toxicity following ferula communis consumption.
